This course is designed for complete beginners. You don’t need any martial arts experience, and you don’t need to be particularly fit or flexible.

Everything is broken down in a simple, easy-to-follow way so you can learn at your own pace.

No, we’ve kept everything as simple and practical as possible.

You won’t be learning long sequences or complicated routines. Instead, you’ll learn clear, effective actions that are easy to remember and use when it matters most.

You’ll learn how to handle real-life situations with confidence, including:

• How to break free from common grabs
• How to use your voice and body to create space
• How to spot danger early and stay aware
• What to do in situations like wrist grabs, bear hugs, and unwanted attention

Girlfend is an online course that you can access anytime.

You can learn from home, in your own space, and go through the training at a pace that suits you. You can revisit lessons as often as you like, so nothing feels rushed or overwhelming.

Depending on your membership you’ll have a minimum of 1 year up to a lifetime. 

Absolutely and many people do.

While the course is designed for adults, the simple techniques and awareness skills can be shared and practised together in a safe and age-appropriate way. It’s a lovely way to build confidence together.
